SAN DIEGO – Scott Peters filed March 6th with the San Diego Registrar of Voters to appear on the June primary ballot. "Mike Aguirre has turned one of the most important offices in this city into a playground of politics, posturing and plain dysfunction," Peters said.  Peters has pledged to restore trust, professionalism and integrity to a beleaguered office that has seen the exodus of more than 100 lawyers during Aguirre's tenure.
