RESTORING INTEGRITY

The City Attorney should view the people of San Diego and the government they elect as clients, not as avenues for attention. It is the City Attorney's duty to give non-political, independent legal advice to the Mayor, Council and city departments, to defend the city and to protect the taxpayers from liability from lawsuits.  Scott has seen first hand how poor leadership in the City Attorney's Office can be detrimental to the people of San Diego.  Under Scott's watch, he won't let that happen.

 

PROTECTING OUR COMMUNITIES

Scott knows that a professionally-managed office will do a better job safeguarding our families by forcing polluters to clean up our environment and vigorously protecting neighborhoods, seniors, women and all consumers from fraud and abuse.
